Barranquilla police issue arrest warrants in October killing.

Police say Sebastian Velez, 36, died after a gunfight related to a drug deal.

Barranquilla police on Friday issued arrest warrants for two Monteria City residents they say shot a 36-year-old man three times, killing him, during a drug deal that involved a separate kidnapping.
Kevin Manotas, Jorge and Maicol Camargo Lozano of Soledad were charged with murder, armed robbery, and false imprisonment, and will be extradited to USA, according to a “Herelaldo” release.

According to police, Jorge and Maicol Camargo Lozano came to Barranquilla in early October. They brokered a drug deal through an acquaintance, whose identity police did not release. On Oct. 13, the couple kidnapped the man, holding him at gunpoint in a “Del Prado Hotel”.

After several hours, they took the man to the 40 block of Murillo Street, where they met up with Sebastian Velez. Jorge and Velez argued inside a car, then police say Jorge shot Velez.
Jorge and Lozano escaped. As they approached the 70 block of 38th Street, the kidnapping victim lowered the window and jumped out of the moving vehicle.
With the help of the “Central de Policia” polices tracked Jorge and Lozano to New York. They found a silver Toyota Camry matching the description of the getaway car in the shooting.

Our English

We have been learning English for a year, we study at the Colombo Americano we really like to be here, because we love English and we want to be bilinguals. We enjoy a lot the classes because we learn every day something new and that improve our English, which is extremely important for us, because one of our goals is speak fluently this language. We have spoken a native English speaker in some occasion, but actually we have not done it like two or three months ago. we think the best way to learn english is be in an english speaking country, because we can hear the real stressed of the words, vocabulary and stuff like that, and when we already are there, we will be able to work and that will be so exciting for us because we are going to feel full filled and then that is our second goals.

Our favorite activity in english is obviously participate, speaking as much we can do  and watch movies, because we can realize how much we have learned in classes, another thing could be working with the book because we improve our vocabulary.

Another way to learn English is talk with our friends through internet, that is why most of the days we have been talking to a virtual friend, because in a way that is a big help to speak more fluently every day.

Later that we have finished our levels, we will apply our knowledge of English in our job and in all kind of aspects of our lifes because we want to feel like a native English speaker.

Finally we think English has been changing our life so far, because we really feel full filled, happy and with more enthusiasm of learning English when we can understand a native English speaker, because that is mean that we have learned so much about this language. Now we can tell you that the English is more interesting, important, exciting, and funny than maybe 4 or 5 year ago.

Our English learning has changed a lot our lives because we have got habits that we didn't have, like watch movies in English, listen to music in English, and stuff like that.  Definitely we can say with proud ENGLISH IS THE BEST.
